I’ve forgotten my login details! Now what?
To login to the website you will need your organisation’s username and password. These can only be sent out through email – so if you need yours, please contact [email protected]

How can I download a locked document from your website?
To access a locked document, you need to be a member of that particular network.
If your organisation is a member, you’ll be able to log in and the document will be available to view.
Email [email protected] if you need a reminder of your login details.

I’ve seen an event on your website which I’m interested in attending. Am I entitled to a free place?
Certain events are free to members, while for others you’ll be entitled to a discounted place.
If you’re in any doubt about the pricing, just contact us on 01904 557150 or [email protected]
Member discounts and free places are automatically applied by our events team when the booking is processed.

Can I attend a best practice group?
Our best practice groups are organised for specific networks, so your organisation must have the relevant membership.

Events and training

How do I book an event?
Go to the events page and click onto the event which you wish to attend. At the bottom of the page is the booking form. Complete this and one of our events team will process your booking.

How do I book onto a public training course?
Go to the public training page and click onto the course you wish to attend. At the bottom of the page is the booking form. Complete this and one of our training team will process your booking.

Do we need a PO number?
The simple answer is ‘no’. You can provide a PO number if you want/if your organisation uses them.

When will I receive joining instructions?
Events – depending on when you book on you will receive them a week before the event, day before and the morning of
Training – depending on when you book in you will receive them a week before the training and two days before.

Where’s the venue?
Once a venue is confirmed the event page will be updated with a Google Map of the location.
We always aim for venues close to major transport hubs – for example, in Manchester we try to make sure venues are a 15-minute walk from Piccadilly or Victoria train station.

Are there still spaces?
Should a date sell out, the page will be updated with a red sold out banner. The booking form will also be removed from the page. If it’s still on the page, the event is still available for booking.
Events and training are also updated when they are nearly sold out, so you know when they’re reaching their capacity.
If you want to attend a sold out date, email [email protected] /[email protected] respectively and we’ll add to a waiting list should there be any cancellations.

I can’t confirm delegates yet. Can I still book?
The simple answer is ‘yes’. When completing the booking form say that the attendees will be confirmed later, and we can process the booking without the delegate names.

I can’t make it on this date, but I am interested in attending the course. What can I do?
If there is another date currently available for the course it’ll be linked above the booking form. If there are currently no other dates available, email [email protected] and we’ll add you to the interest list, notifying you when more dates become available.

We are members of HQN and are entitled to free places. Are we able to use these at this event?
If you’d like to know if you’re entitled to a free place or, how many free places you’ve got left, please email [email protected]

I’ve booked a place and can no longer attend. What do I do?
There are a few options.
- You can cancel your place
If you are unable to attend an event or public training course, please let us know in writing (email is fine) at least 48 hours before. Please email [email protected]
Otherwise, a cancellation fee of £60 plus VAT will be chargeable.
If you are using a package place to attend and do not inform us within the agreed time frame, then a place will be taken to cover your non-attendance.
Cancellations must be made in writing and will be acknowledged by HQN Limited.
- Give your place to a colleague
If you’ve a colleague who is able to attend the event, then please send an email to [email protected]. Remember to include the event name, date and location, and the name, job title, email address and contact number of the replacement delegate. We’ll then confirm the change with you.

I am interested in a training course, but have a number of staff who would find it useful. What can I do?
